You’re Invited to Cece’s Wedding!: First Look
Watershed Speculation/Spoilers:
So came across this today and if it is related to Caskett and “Watershed” perhaps our fears are all misplaced.
Was playing with some ideas and just realized that engagement is a drastically different 10-letter word to separation :)

Castle 5x24 “Watershed” Season Finale CTV Promo
“without me” ouch that hurt my heart
He’s totally right though. I mean we have not a lot of context for this situation, but Castle has every right to be angry about that. Why would she want to leave the best thing that’s happened to her in years, and maybe ever. I know she obviously won’t take it, because there wouldn’t be a show, but this time, I support Castle here.
I think Castle has a right to be upset, but I also think that Beckett has a right to seriously consider this opportunity. She is a very strong, very talented, VERY savvy detective who could easily slide into the role that was offered to her, and excel at it. She loves Castle, but this is her passion. It’s hard to let anything get in the way of that.
Castle can write from anywhere. Alexis is in college. Martha’s a grown woman who can fend for herself (despite what she wants her son to think). A compromise could easily be reached here, if Beckett were to take the position. Castle just needs to realize it isn’t all about him, all the time. All of this is true. But I shall play the other side for the sake of conversation.
Castle has waited Kate out for four years. He has stood beside her, risked his life, for nothing more or less than love. Even when she was with someone else, even when she pushed him away, even when she wasn’t ready. Even when she lied. He has been there, doing this on her terms.
It should not be an automatic assumption that because he can uproot his life, leave his home and family and follow her, that he must be the one to bend. It shouldn’t be automatic at all.
What should also not be assumed is that Castle isn’t serious about this relationship. Andrew Marlowe has said, Castle’s question for the end of the season is “when is the right time to purpose?” - We know this is in his head. Kate doesn’t.
What should not be assumed is that Castle must still wait for Kate, lest she flee. She loves him. She wants to know where they are going because she wants to go there. She does.
They both do. This is the baggage between them. And this is the episode that is set to clear it. And once that job is done, we will find them at that next level.

Dad there’s nothing wrong with Nick. You don’t even know him

Nick’s little nod kills me. It kills me that he thinks he isn’t good enough for Jess. If Bob knew what Nick has done for his ‘little girl’ ever since they met and how often he’s been there for her, he’d be singing a different tune.
I can see Nick trying to push Jess away after this. Maybe this is what TPTB meant when they hinted that future Nick’s comment would come up again (re: tell her you’re sorry)? Except Jess won’t LET him push her away.
The thing is: Jess doesn’t care if Nick’s a bartender, a mail man or a Nobel Prize winner. She loves him for who he is.
